6.83-inch 144Hz curved AMOLED display

The vivo T5 5G features a 6.83-inch 1.5K 3D curved AMOLED display with a 1,260 x 2,800-pixel resolution. The panel supports a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, a 300Hz touch sampling rate and up to 2,000 nits of brightness. The display also covers 100 percent of the DCI-P3 colour gamut and has a claimed pixel density of 449ppi.

Dimensity 7500 Turbo handles performance

The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset and includes MediaTek's NPU 850 for AI-related workloads. RAM options extend up to 12GB, with 256GB being the maximum onboard storage configuration.vivo has positioned the processor as part of the phone's on-device AI capabilities, rather than treating AI as a separate software feature.

7,050mAh battery with 44W charging

Battery capacity is one of the major hardware features of the T5 5G. The phone packs a 7,050mAh battery and supports 44W fast charging.vivo claims that the battery can provide approximately 22 hours of video streaming on a single charge. The company also says the battery is designed to maintain its health over five years under its specified conditions.

50MP primary camera with OIS

For photography, the vivo T5 5G uses a dual-camera setup on the rear. It combines a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and an 8MP ultra-wide camera.A 32MP front-facing camera handles selfies and video calls. The phone also supports 4K video recording.

OriginOS 6 and Android 16

The T5 5G runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. vivo has promised three major Android OS upgrades and five years of security updates. That software-support commitment gives the phone a longer planned update window, although the practical benefit will depend on how quickly the future Android and security releases reach the device.

Design and durability

The vivo T5 5G uses vivo's Skyline design language and is offered in Royal Bronze and Silver Green finishes. Despite its large battery, the handset measures around 7.99mm thick. It also carries IP68 and IP69 ratings, providing protection against dust and water exposure. The vivo T5 5G is clearly built around a combination of features rather than one headline specification. Its curved 1.5K AMOLED panel, high refresh rate, large battery and Dimensity 7500 Turbo make it a fairly feature-heavy option in the ₹35,000–₹50,000 range. The more important question will be how it compares with competing smartphones once buyers can purchase it. The base configuration offers the lowest entry price, while the ₹49,999 top-end model moves into a much more competitive segment. For buyers who prioritise display quality and battery endurance while still wanting a capable mid-range chipset, the T5 5G deserves attention. Its camera and charging hardware, however, will need to prove competitive against alternatives at similar prices.
